Free School Meal (FSM) Eligibility
As of September 2026, criteria for Free School Meal (FSM) eligibility has changed. In addition to this, schools are now required to complete an annual FSM check for each school year.
If you have already provided your details and received confirmation of your eligibility outcome, no further action is required.
If you have not yet provided your details, the primary parent / carer can do so via this online form: Request for FSM Eligibility Check. If you have multiple children at Longfield, please complete a form for each child.
If your child was not previously eligible for FSM, they may now qualify under the new legislation. If you would like us to check your eligibility, please complete the form above.
Please note that FSM entitlement cannot be backdated. Therefore, all food and drink purchases must continue to be paid for via Iris ParentMail until eligibility has been confirmed.
