Throughout KS3, pupils access the full curriculum giving them a breadth of knowledge and experience in a range of subjects. During Year 9, pupils develop a greater understanding of the subjects they enjoy and subjects that may support their post-16 aspirations.
In term 2, the options process launches with the Year 9 Options Evening. Pupils should accompany their parents / carers to this event as it will equip them with the relevant information to make an informed decision about their option choices. Following the event, the online Options Form will open for responses.
Once all options responses have been collated, our Options Coordinator and Leadership Team will begin to build the timetable for the following academic year and confirm option choices.
